In the Baptismal Covenant, we promise to seek and serve Christ in all persons, loving our neighbors, as ourselves. At St. John’s, one way we do this is through our feeding ministries.

Our Food Pantry is the only upcountry pantry that has food available weekly. Anyone who calls is able to set up an appointment to stop by for a bag (or bags, depending on family size) of non perishable groceries, no questions asked. Bags often contain such items as rice, cereal, milk, tuna, peanut butter, pasta, pasta sauce, and canned fruits and vegetables. Occasionally, thanks to the generosity of local farmers, we are able to offer freshly grown fruits and vegetables as well.

Our Community Dinners are held once monthly. In pre-Covid times, we hosted free sit-down dinners, often with live musical accompaniment. Since the onset of the pandemic, our dinners have shifted to drive-thru, and are serving 2-3x as many people as before.

All of this is made possible through the generosity of our members. If you are able to help, please consider donating through the form below.
